Bloom's Taxonomy

Bloom's Taxonomy
A hierarchical list of thinking skills. The six levels of Bloom's taxonomy should be used in stating objectives of lessons and in devising questions which stimulate thinking at each level. The six levels, from lowest to highest, are: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. Another level, some propose, is meta-cognition. Also see cognitive, effort, interdisciplinary, and multiple intelligence theory.
